Legal Services

I serve the entire bay area, with a primary focus on Alameda County and the Federal Northern District of California, the latter of which includes divisions in Oakland, San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and San Jose.  I also handle cases for the Eastern District of California, which covers much of the Central Valley, including Solano, Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus counties.

I am willing to take cases anywhere in the greater Bay Area counties of Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, San Joaquin, Sonoma, and Santa Clara, including but not limited to the following areas: Hayward, San Leandro, Oakland, Fremont, Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, Berkeley, San Francisco, San Mateo, San Jose, Santa Clara, Redwood City, Concord, Antioch, Union City, Alameda, Richmond, Contra Costa, Santa Rosa, Sonoma, and Marin.

Bankruptcy law is a large focus of our practice, covering chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies.  I can also advise on the following bankruptcy-related issues:

  • Debt management
  • Personal bankruptcy
  • Business bankruptcy
  • Stopping wage garnishments, foreclosures, and repossessions
  • Tax-related debts
  • Stripping junior mortgages, including home equity lines of credit
  • Helping honest people stay in their homes, even if they are significantly behind on payments
  • Bankruptcy adversary proceedings

In addition to bankruptcy law, I also practice in the following fields:

  • Criminal Defense
  • Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts
  • Civil Litigation
  • General Debt-Related Negotiations
  • Unlawful Detainers
  • Restraining Orders
  • Real Property Law
  • Contract Review and Formation

Fees for a chapter 7 generally range from $1,000 to $1,400.00, depending on the complexity of the issues at hand.  For chapter 13 bankruptcies, the intial retainer can be as low as $1,000.00, with the remainder to be paid over three to five years through the debtor's chapter 13 plan.  Filing fees for chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies are $335.00 and $310.00, respectively. I will personally meet with the Debtor and appear personally at all meetings and hearings.

Fees for a standard living trust package range from $800.00 to $1,200.00.  Fees for other services vary based on the diversity of work required, but are very competitive in the context of the bay area legal market.

If you are looking for a service that I have not listed above, please feel free to contact me anyway, so I can at least put you in touch with someone who may be able to help. Methods of payment include cash, check, money orders, PayPal and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).
